Denmark’s parliament confirmed in December 2025 that food VAT will not be cut before the next election; officials are discussing a possible reduction — either a general cut toward 20% or a targeted exemption for fruit and vegetables — but nothing takes effect before 2028 at the earliest. For now, budget for the full 25% on any Denmark-bound food shipment.

A note on the Faroe Islands and Greenland
